The 8 Clairs and the 5 Physical Senses: Understanding the Difference
The human body can experience and perceive the world through our five physical senses: sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell. However, the spiritual community believes we have additional abilities to perceive and experience the world, known as the 8 clairs.
The 8 clairs are as follows:
Clairvoyance: The ability to see beyond the physical realm and receive messages through inner visions.
Clairaudience: The ability to hear beyond the physical realm and receive messages through inner sounds or voices.
Clairsentience: The ability to feel beyond the physical realm and receive messages through physical sensations or emotions.
Claircognizance: The ability to know beyond the physical realm and receive messages through inner knowing or understanding.
Clairgustance: The ability to taste beyond the physical realm and receive messages through inner tastes or flavours.
Clairalience: The ability to smell beyond the physical realm and receive messages through inner scents or aromas.
Clairtangency: The ability to touch beyond the physical realm and receive messages through physical sensations.
Clairseance: The ability to access information from the spiritual realm through the channelling of spirits.
It is believed that everyone has the potential to develop and use their 8 clairs, but for most people, these abilities remain dormant. With practice and intention, you can increase your awareness of your clairs and develop your abilities.
The 8 clairs are not meant to replace the 5 physical senses. Instead, they work alongside our physical senses, allowing us to access a more complete, holistic understanding of the world around us.
In conclusion, the 8 clairs offer us a new way to perceive and experience the world beyond our 5 physical senses. Whether you want to develop your clairs or simply expand your awareness, understanding the difference between the 5 physical senses and the 8 clairs is a great starting point.
