Educate
We listen, then go deep on the science. You’ll understand what’s happening and why.
Treat
We curate an approach based on your needs. At-home protocols, lifestyle shifts, and referrals when appropriate.
Track
Progress reviews, photo comparisons, and adjustments to keep you moving forward.
Get ahead of loss by reducing the drivers. I focus on scalp hygiene, inflammation, stress load, and routine corrections. When needed, I collaborate with medical providers for options that fall outside trichology scope.
Examples: professional scalp care plans, home device guidance, referral-based options when appropriate.
Strengthen the foundation for regrowth. Improve microcirculation, routine, and internal drivers. I’ll advise on evidence-informed options and coordinate referrals where medical interventions are considered.
Examples: targeted at-home protocols, lifestyle adjustments, coordinated care with your providers.
Support the hair growth cycle from the inside out. We review nutrition patterns, stress, sleep, and key lab markers with your primary care team when needed.
Examples: nutrition review, scalp treatments, lab collaboration, personalized product guidance.
Feel good now while you do the deeper work.
Examples: colour-matching fibres or powders, hair extensions, SMP, strategic clip-ins, cut and finish to maximize density.
As a Certified Trichologist and Red Seal Hairstylist with over 20 years of experience, I take a science-backed yet holistic approach to hair health, with a strong focus on epigenetics—the way your environment, lifestyle, and habits influence hair growth and overall well-being. Hair is more than just strands on your head—it’s a biomarker that can reveal deeper health concerns, affecting both confidence and emotional well-being.
There is more than one type of alopecia, and there’s no one-size-fits-all solution. Each individual’s hair journey is unique, and I focus on providing personalized solutions that address both the root cause and long-term hair health.
Trichology is the science of hair and scalp health, addressing issues like hair loss, thinning, breakage, and scalp disorders by identifying the underlying causes. But it’s more than just hair—it's about overall well-being.
Many assume hair loss is the same for everyone, but there are multiple types of alopecia, each with its own cause, treatment, and solution. Finding the right approach starts with understanding why it's happening.
Common types of alopecia include:
✔ Androgenic Alopecia (genetic hair thinning)
✔ Alopecia Areata (autoimmune-related hair loss)
✔ Telogen Effluvium (stress or trauma-induced shedding)
✔ Traction Alopecia (caused by tension and styling habits)
I help identify which type of hair loss you’re experiencing and work with you to develop a customized plan to restore balance, promote growth, and prevent further loss.
With over 25 years as a hairstylist, salon owner, and educator, my hands have shaped thousands of stories through hair. While I’ve stepped back from full-time behind-the-chair work to focus on The Hair Wire and my other ventures, my love for the craft will always have a seat at the table.
These days, I take on select clients and event work—bridal, editorial, and creative collaborations that let me stay connected to the art form I grew up in. You’ll also find me styling occasionally at Frenchies, where I support education, creativity, and the next generation of stylists.
Before I ever crafted jewelry, I was sculpting hair.
Hair design has always been my first medium—especially long hair, updos, and intricate styles that blend structure with soul. I’ve spent years teaching and performing on stages across Western Canada, sharing the freedom and form behind what I call “wearable art.”
Even after all these years, there’s something magical about transforming texture into sculpture. Each piece—whether it’s hair or metal—begins with intention. It’s intuitive, fluid, and deeply personal. I might not take on regular salon work anymore, but give me a creative brief and some freedom, and I’m in.
Just like hair, every piece of jewelry I design carries meaning. Both are rooted in craftsmanship, energy, and self-expression. Whether I’m styling a bride or creating a talisman, my process is the same: align intention, honour form, and create something that feels alive.
If you’re looking for unique hair artistry for an event, editorial, or styled shoot, I’d love to hear from you.
