A New Chapter — Important Update on My Schedule & Services

May 30, 20254 min read

Hey Hair Friend,

I hope this message finds you well. I’m writing to share some exciting news and important updates regarding my availability and service offerings as I step into a new chapter in my professional journey.

Over the past few months, I’ve been in conversation with a fellow stylist and trichologist here in the city—someone whose passion and values align deeply with mine. We recently had the opportunity to connect in person, and what unfolded was a powerful conversation rooted in a shared vision: to raise the standard of care in both salon services and professional education.

That meeting led to an incredible opportunity I simply couldn’t turn down.

I’ve been offered a space inside a beautifully designed, education-based salon located in the Oliver Exchange Building, just off Jasper Avenue. The space was intentionally created with the future in mind—a place to grow into a full academy. It’s equipped to support trichology services, high-level education, and even medical and lab-grade research.

And as a bonus? It’s connected to a little coffee shop bakery that also offers gluten-free goods and an artisan market called Pop Collective where I’ll also hopefully be showcasing and selling my jewelry collections -maybe.

Schedule & Bookings

I will officially be transitioning out of Blush Hair Company in mid-July.

Going forward, I’ll be returning to Blush on a very limited chair rental basis—once every 5 to 6 weeks—for pre-scheduled appointments only. These dates will be set in advance, and I won’t be able to accommodate last-minute or add-on bookings.

If you'd like to remain on my priority list for these limited days, please let me know as soon as possible.
If you’d prefer to stay with a stylist at Blush, I’m happy to recommend someone and arrange an introduction or consultation on your behalf.

Payments & Booking System

As of the end of July:

  • I will be discontinuing my online booking system.

  • All future appointments—including one-off visits at Blush—will be booked directly through me.

  • I will no longer accept debit or credit card payments. Only cash or e-transfer will be accepted.

New Location & Premium Experience

If you’re open to visiting me at my new location, I would be honored to welcome you into what feels like a return to the high-end, intentional experience I once offered—and have always dreamed of offering again.

Since stepping into this new space, I feel like a dimmed light has been reignited. This is more than a salon—it’s an opportunity to serve you on a whole new level.

This new space offers:

  • Private chair areas with elegant dividers

  • A tranquil, non-speaking wash station with hot towel treatments

  • Personal changing rooms for each guest

  • On-site café and licensed drink service

  • At-chair services such as brow clean-ups, head and hand massages, and more

  • A trichology- and hair health-focused menu

  • Access to high-end trichology equipment and clinical-grade services in collaboration with an on-site RN

This marks a significant elevation in service standards, and with that comes a notable change in pricing.

While I no longer manage pricing at the new location, the rates reflect:

  • The elevated space and amenities

  • My expanded role as a Certified Clinical Trichologist

  • 25+ years of professional experience and specialization

These are not quick, wrap-around appointments. These are results-driven, premium treatments tailored to your unique needs—delivered with intention, care, and clinical insight.

This new chapter also gives me the space to expand my teaching, create impactful content for The Hair Wire and the Faculty of Trichology, and collaborate with a like-minded educator who shares my mission: to uplift our industry, evolve how we approach hair and scalp health, and bring this knowledge into more salon spaces through a future physical academy—building on the foundation of our online school, officially launching this fall.

Here’s to raising the bar—for myself, and for you—because you deserve an experience as elevated and intentional as the care I’ve always committed to providing.

If you have any questions, would like to pre-book your next appointment at Blush, or are curious about transitioning to my new location, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’ll be sharing more details and a formal schedule soon.

Thank you for your continued trust, support, and understanding as I transition into this next phase. I’m truly grateful to walk this journey with you—and I can’t wait to welcome you into this new chapter.

With appreciation,
Kerri Jarrett
